What is breathwork?

Breathwork is the conscious act of deepening and focusing on a constant pattern of breath, which can alter one’s state of consciousness. This allows energy to be moved through the body, bringing with it any emotion that needs to be surfaced and released.

We work together to access parts of the subconscious mind to unlock repressed emotions, memories and trauma, and help you on the journey to inner peace, and stepping into your true potential.

Who is breathwork for?

Breathwork can benefit anyone, you don’t need to meditate or do yoga or even know about wellness - we all breathe every minute of the day. Breathwork is simply controlling and harnessing the breath to truly connect with ourselves on a deeper level. If you are interested in tapping into your full potential, you have to try breathwork.

How will breathwork help me?

Breathwork has many benefits, and can help move energy and stuck trauma in the body. This can be from a known event during childhood or later in life, or something that you didn’t even know existed. The art of this practice helps to clear physical, emotional and psychological hurdles that are preventing us from being the best version of ourselves. 

It’s not just about deep healing though, Breathwork helps to improve focus, energy, self love, sleep, negative self talk and creativity - all helping us to achieve a life where we feel happy, connected and content. 

It’s important to remember that each individuals experience is unique and the practice will provide you with what you body, mind, and heart needs. 

What can I expect at an Enlightened Minds event?

In our half day workshops, we start with an introduction to Breathwork, what it is, why we love it, and how we do it. We will practice our favourite simple exercises to use day to day, before starting our conscious connected Breathwork session - a guided experience where you can expect to ignite a deep connection with yourself, shift energies to heal, and unlock your true potential.
